Dolphins: Contract talks with Griese hit snag
News
According to the Miami Herald, the Dolphins and Brian Griese's agent did not
talk yesterday afternoon after speaking in the morning. Talks have hit a snag,
and the snag is money. Backup quarterbacks usually receive around $1-1.5 million
per season, but Griese's agent wants more because he does not view Griese as
a "street backup." He also wants heavy incentives in case Griese wins
the job and plays well. NFL Tickets
