St. Louis quarterback Marc Bulger threw two touchdown passes to Torry Holt and ran for another touchdown to spark the Rams over Atlanta 36-0 here in a National Football League game.
Bulger, who has replaced struggling Kurt Warner as the Rams' starter, threw a 21-yard touchdown toss to Holt 2:44 into the third quarter to give the Rams a 17-0 lead.
Their second connection, a 14-yard scoring strike, came with 10:44 remaining in the final period, giving the Rams a 26-0 edge and complete command of the gridiron contest. NFL Tickets
Bulger threw for 352 yards, with Holt making 11 catches for 161 yards.
Bulger also scored on a three-yard touchdown run with 82 seconds to play in the second quarter, which combined with Jeff Wilkins' 28-yard field goal in the first quarter gave the Rams a 10-0 half-time lead.
The St. Louis defense, which stifled the Falcons all night, produced points on its own when Travis Fisher returned an interception 74 yards for a touchdown and Grant Wistrom tackled Atlanta's T.J. Duckett in the end zone for a safety.
Atlanta's Jay Feely also had a 60-yard field goal attempt blocked at the end of the first half by the stingy St. Louis defense.
